We are pleased to announce that the proposed update to ARTICLE XI, Sections A and B of the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) Bylaws has been approved by the membership. The amendment, which empowers the Board of Directors to propose and enact changes to ANNA’s Constitution and Bylaws, received an overwhelming 83% approval from those who voted.
What Does This Mean for ANNA?
This update to ARTICLE XI, Sections A and B allows the Board of Directors to make necessary amendments to our Bylaws more efficiently, particularly in situations where swift action is needed to ensure that ANNA remains aligned with best practices and continues to fulfill its mission effectively. The changes reflect a commitment to good governance, as recommended by our legal counsel, ensuring that ANNA’s leadership can respond dynamically to the evolving needs of our organization.
